Turn campaign totals into metrics you can compare

A campaign report can contain all the right totals while still leaving you unsure which metric explains a change. This PPC calculator puts the main rates and costs in one place. Use it to check an agency report, compare campaigns on consistent definitions or prepare a performance summary. It calculates from your numbers rather than connecting to an advertising account or estimating missing revenue.

How to use PPC Metrics Calculator

  1. Gather spend, impressions, clicks, attributed conversions and revenue from the same period. Use one currency and compatible attribution settings across the figures.

  2. Enter the totals and calculate. Fractional attributed conversions are supported; impressions and clicks need whole-number counts.

  3. Review the metric table and formulas before exporting. If a number differs from your platform, compare definitions and filters before assuming an arithmetic error.

What do the results mean?

CTR describes clicks relative to impressions, while conversion rate here uses clicks as its denominator. CPA measures spend per attributed conversion and ROAS measures attributed revenue per ad-spend unit. N/A means a denominator is zero. A high ROAS does not establish profit after product costs, refunds or overhead.

What to do next

Use ROAS + Break-even ROAS Calculator when you need to connect revenue returns with your contribution margin, rather than comparing revenue alone.

Keep the scope in mind

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Common questions about PPC Metrics Calculator

How is average CPC calculated?

Divide total ad spend by clicks. For example, spend of 1,000 and 2,000 clicks gives an average CPC of 0.50 in the same currency. This differs from a maximum auction bid.

Why can my conversion rate exceed 100%?

Your platform may count multiple conversion events per click or use fractional attribution. Check the conversion definition and reporting scope. The calculator flags unusual totals without silently changing them.
